New Piano!

I sure like my new electric piano (a Yamaha Clavinova). Now I’ve grabbed every beginner’s book I can find to learn how to play the thing. ha Got the names of the white keys down, the flat and sharp black keys, g cleff and f cleff, and the names of the three peddles. I have a little head start on reading music–quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, and such, since I was in band in school for years. I stopped on a chapter last night that started looking complicated. Figured it was time for rest so my new contact high wouldn’t disappear. ha Back at it today. Tracey, you would be proud.
My son, Nick, asked me yesterday if learning to play the piano will interfere with my writing. Uh, no way!
Just sent a hard copy, an MS Word copy, and a nice little payment to my professional editor.
We shall see what she says.
